To cap off the social summer season in the Hamptons, people flock to the Hampton Classic Horse Show which is held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.
The Hampton Classic Horse Show is a Grand Prix event that is one of the larger show jumping contests in the United States. The VIP tent is the coveted invite where people parade down the aisle that is bookended by fabulously decorated tables. Fashion, as well as the horses, becomes a spectator sport.
Here were some of the fashions that we at Flower Power enjoyed for their florals.
We loved this outfit because she had both a pretty floral dress and then accessorized it with a hat that had a flower on it. Not surprisingly, this was a Dolce Gabbana dress. That design team does such a great job with anything floral.
Florals in fall colors. She looked adorable. Though these designs don’t give you much room for a bra. Such pretty fabric though.
This artist hand-painted his pants. How clever and talented he is. Classic and daring.
The quality of the fabric appealed to my tastes with this dress. The florals were also so delicate. However, I always find off the shoulder uncomfortable but this woman wore it well and with confidence.
This dress looked like a Georgia O’Keefe inspiration. Although white is considered by some to be a faux pas – sorry I’m a traditionalist – one could wear this into fall because of the green base color. Lovely and makes a statement.
This dress caught my eye because of the raspberry colors with the yellow. The ruffle also wasn’t too frilly but just right.
This guy knows how to make a statement. Floral shirts are the rage in men’s clothing now as we’ve reported. But this one is definitely more bold and fun.
Yellow is such a sunny color. Like how she accessorized it with beige shoes vs. white as the cooler breeze beckoned fall in the future.
While Kelly Bensimon didn’t have a floral dress on, she did have a fab floral bag.
To stand out from the crowd, wear something floral in your hair. This yellow floral hat complemented the dress.
This light-blue Tory Burch dress has been this woman’s favorite ensemble for the summer. But she may have to retire it for fall or until she flies off to somewhere warm in the near future.
