Kate Middleton Will Participate in the Chelsea Flower Show

Anyone going to the Chelsea Flower Show this year (see Calendar) which runs from May 21 to May 25 will be pleased to know that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is designing an installation for the event. Don’t look for something overflowing with geraniums. The theme is “Back to Nature.”

Working with the Royal Horticulture Society (RHS) and the award-winning landscape architects Andree Davies and Adam White of Davies White, the Duchess of Cambridge’s garden will, according to a statement released by Kensington Palace, “build on Her Royal Highness’s passion for the outdoors and the proven benefits that nature has on physical and mental health.”

It will also “advocate for the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development.”
