Priyanka Chopra Wins Best-Dressed at BAFTA Awards in Pertegaz

Priyanka Chopra is indeed a beautiful rose.

Rarely at an awards show is there just ONE stand-out, the rose among the thorns, the person who stands out and there’s no contest.

Well at the British Academy Film Awards—better known as the BAFTA awards, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was the easiest winner to choose as Flower Power Daily’s best-dressed in these two gorge outfits – one by Spanish designer Manuel Pertegaz and the other by Ronald Van Der Kemp that looks like flowers are embroidered into the butterfly motif.

Why? Because THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE in beautiful florals. How could that be? Are you surprised?  Where have all the beautiful flowers gone?

There are so many gorgeous floral dresses this season. What do you think happened?

And don’t you love how the actress paired the lovely Pertegaz jacket with those draping pillowy pants?

I was sure that the Oscar de la Renta flower dress that has been the rage would have been one of the dresses chosen. After all, singer Taylor Swift wore it at the Grammy’s?  Or maybe that is why one of these stars chose not to wear it since a famous person already wore it.

Still, there are so many floral dresses I’ve seen in all price points from Nicole Miller to Dolce & Gabbana to Zimmermann that would have brightened up what really was a boring fashion presentation.

And speaking of roses, check out what Chopra Jonas got as a surprise from her husband, singer Nick Jonas. Me, I get a dozen roses for a special occasion. But here her dressing room is literally swimming in roses. No wonder she has an affinity for rose motifs. It is after all the flower of love. – Jill Brooke
