Best Floral Dresses at Golden Globes? You Decide

Spread the love

By Linda Lee and Jill Brooke

We were kind of disappointed that Taylor Swift didn’t embrace flowers at the 81st Golden Globes award this year.

However, these other stars dazzled in a variety of styles that were blooming with flowers.

Here are our favorites.

Dior was the house that had two major wins. Dior created the ethereal dress worn by Natalie Portman. The Dior couture dress was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Look at all the intricate beading. Just so lovely. And colorful too but so delicate.

Rosamund Pike also wore a black dress. It is classically beautiful with floral-themed lace. However, the frilly helmet did grab attention but not the kind you want. We would have preferred the dress without the black feathery helmet.

Emma Stone’s dress was designed by Louis Vuitton. Okay, can we be honest? We loved the applique with floral details. But while the actress can fill the screen, she didn’t fill out the dress. But with tailoring, this would be a must-have dress for anyone going to a black tie or cocktail party.

Gina Torres presented at the awards with her co-stars from “Suits.” Her vintage Oscar de la Renta skirt was sublimely beautiful. Just a showstopper. White and black is both classic and elegant.

Last but not least, Jennifer Lopez wore a Nicole Felicia Couture dress. She is a girl who loves drama and the pink tulip-inspired sleeves were both dramatic and scene-stealing.

So exciting that awards season is upon us and there will be beautiful floral fashions to enjoy.
