Van Gogh: La Nuit Étoilée Exhibit Dazzles in Paris France

Van Gogh’s work comes alive thanks to Paris Atelier des Lumières’s show, which runs until the end of 2019.
This immersive exhibition features the Dutch artist’s most famous paintings – of course, “Starry Night” is in it – as well as his other famous paintings.
For 35 minutes, visitors can rediscover Van Gogh’s work with sky-high walls illuminating his paintings along with light and sound effects. There are 2,000 moving pictures that trace his evolution to become one of the world’s most famous painters. Gianfranco Iannuzzi was the artistic director, and Renato Galto served as director in a team effort that created a show both popular and informative.
The Paris museum tried a similar approach to Gustav Klimt last year. Because of the Klimt exhibition’s success, Atelier des Lumières’ executives gave this creative team a green light to interpret Vincent Van Gogh’s work – including his beloved flower paintings.
