Want to go to Bogota, Colombia on an all-expense trip for two to Alexandra Farms or perhaps you would like 1000 stems of one of the world’s most beautiful garden roses?
Starting this week, Alexandra Farms is taking submissions for its fourth annual rose photography contest for your wedding work or everyday design using garden roses.
Judges include David J C. Austin, the managing director of David Austin Roses, floral designer Holly Heider Chapple and Jose R. Azout , president of Alexandra Farms.
Submissions will be accepted from May 1 to June 15th with the winners being announced in August.
Garden roses, which are so full of pillowy petals, must be prominent in the design. What a fun project to consider doing when you are out gardening your roses or using them for weddings.
What we also like about this contest is that you don’t have to pay to play. You can just submit your rose images and let luck come your way. Even if you don’t win, it will be a worthwhile journey.
The intricacies of roses truly entrance anyone who cares to look and explore.
As Albert Einstein said, “Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better.”
