Emmy Awards 2021 Fashion Winners

Spread the love

Unlike the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s MET gala where garish costumes were de rigeur, except of course for the fab floral fashions, the Emmy Awards were a runway of beautiful clothes that were relatable and wearable.

There were so many fashions that we liked.

Kaley Cuoco may not have won an Emmy for HBO’s “The Flight Attendant,”  losing out to “Schitt’s Creek’s” Catherine O’Hara, but she won our hearts with her gorgeous neon yellow-colored Vera Wang dress. And how adorable were her sneakers underneath?

Another winner was Saturday Night Live’s Aidy Bryant whose floral boho dress charmed. Like a peony that is in bloom, she dresses beautifully for her figure with style and fun.

Wandavision writer Jac Schaeffer’s floral dress in garnet and black seemed like a good choice for any holiday event. In fact, one can always hem a long gown and turn it into a cocktail party favorite. Even better, accessorize it with a black jacket.

We really like Yara Shahidi’s floral earrings and leaf green dress.

The floral. embroidered details on Keri Russell’s dress caught our eye as well though it is a dress strictly. for a big showy event.

Last but not least, a nod to Anthony Anderson. What a fantastic dinner jacket with modern floral flourishes. Many of the men were stylish in their velvet-colored tuxedo jackets in various colors including Jason Sedakis’ teal-blue inspiration, but Anderson’s jacket was fun, festive and elegant. And could be worn even with black jeans for a fun party.

Nice to see people getting dressed up and hopefully these are the previews of more to come.  Petal On.

And a special shout-out to Kaley Cuoco’s after-party look. Especially the yellow APL sneakers to match the Vera Wang dress.
