Jeremy Allen White is a proud outspoken flower lover.

When appearing on  NBC’s Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the TV host held up a photo collage of White holding giant bouquets from social media and teased, “Do you work at a florist?”

White, who is the star of the long running Hulu series “The Bear,” smiled at the buzz around his flower excursions.

“I saw a friend a couple weeks ago I hadn’t seen in a while, and we were catching up and she just goes, ‘Can I ask you something?’” White explained. “She was like, ‘What’s up with the flowers?’ As if there was something sinister going on, that I was doing something strange with the flowers.”

“I just like them,” White explained. “I like them in the house. I like giving them to people.”

Living in New York City, he explains, allows him to buy flowers at local markets around the Big Apple.

The flowers have also become a part of his bond with his daughters, with the actor telling the talk show host, “I arrange them with my daughters on Sunday, and it’s like… it’s a nice thing that we do.”

White embraced it as his “thing,” to which Fallon responded, “No one can take that from you.”  Or complain about it since it’s a great hobby and brings happiness and joy – and improves mental health.

The “Shameless” alum shares daughters Ezer, 6, and Dolores, 4, with his ex-wife, Addison Timlin.

White also will be seen soon as  Bruce Springsteen in The Boss’ 20th Century Studios biopic, “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” set to hit theaters on October 24.

Now people also know to send him lots of flowers.

White isn’t the only rugged guy who is known to be a flower lover.  UrbanStems anointed football star  Zay Flowers their “first-ever Chief Floral Receiver.” and did a collaboration with floral bouquets for Valentine’s Day.

In fact, clever florists in California caters to male clients and also has boyfriend collections.El Florista Flower Shop has a dedicated “Flowers for Male” section on their website, featuring options like dark blue, black, and silver roses, along with more exotic choices like birds of paradise. Cesar Haro Floral Design (Los Angeles) also offers “Masculine Arrangement” options and are located in the Los Angeles flower district.

After all, it should not only be men buying flowers for women.

According to a behavioral study conducted by Rutgers University researcher Holly Hale and psychology professor Jeannette Haviland-Jones, men who receive flowers demonstrated increased eye contact in conversation, stood in closer proximity to the researchers and produced more positive smiles than men in the study group who didn’t receive flowers.

“When it comes to receiving flowers, men and women are on the same playing field,” wrote Haviland-Jones. “It seems that we all express extraordinary delight and an increase in our social behavior.”
