For National Dessert Day – Yummy Floral Decorated Cakes

Spread the love

Who knows who started this day, but if it gives us an excuse to have a guilt-free dessert that tastess good and make you feel good.

There is true artistry in designing cakes and here’s something fun – choose which ones you like between @juliesimoncakes @anjulicakereflections @latulipedessert @elizabethcakeemporium and @juliesimoncakes.

We are big fans of Anjuli Webster who turned to baking cakes while battling breast cancer. Now she has a booming Seattle business and fan base. And she loves flowers as we do. Here are some of her recent creations.

La Tulipe, based in Mt. Kisco, is known for its excepti0nal flavors and designs. In fact, this is the baker that created Chelsea Clinton’s wedding cake.

Julie Simon’s cakes – which often requires 200 hours of work – has earned this Los-Angeles based baker rave reviews and a rabid following.

Natasja Sadi of Cake Atelier in Amsterdam has garnered a global fanbase for her incredible designs.

Using floral motifs always adds interest to the creations and it’s fun to observe how all these artists interpret different flowers in their designs. Some spin incredible designs with sugar while others add real flowers for a special flourish.

They all do enhance the concept of too good to eat.
